Elliptical training - nothing beats it

It is possible that elliptical training is the best cardio exercise available today. What brings me to this conclusion is the combination of several aspects and benefits realized when partaking in elliptical training.

Elliptical training can be described as a weight-bearing aerobic exercise that results in little to no impact on the muscles and joints. This is achieved through the smooth, eliptical motion made by the pedals of the cross trainer.

Because there is no abrupt change in direction or hard pounding of the feet on the ground, there is very little stress felt on the users knees, hips or lower back. This is great news for those that are overweight and looking to get back in shape.

It's really hard to compare any other weight bearing exercise to that of elliptical training because of huge difference in impact and that you still get the benefits of strengthening your bones.
